It was our biggest, sparkliest Winter Wonderland yet, with more activities and more people (and elves) helping out than ever before. Thank you, all of you – the humans, the faery folk, the donators of raffle prizes, the supernatural beings of every order – and not forgetting the photographers who sent in these pictures.
- It started off like this…
- …with those hundreds of silver wishes.
- “I wish I could meet Santa…”
- “…and that he’d be made out of sweets.”
- Preparing Santa’s grotto.
- Sweet stall at the ready.
- Mother and child at the mulled cider stop.
- Cakes good to go.
- Elf and child wait upon the man in red.
- Signs in position.
- And come on in!
- Fantastic performance from Orion class and soloists.
- With a little impromptu piano accompaniment.
- Cake fairies at the ever-magical cake table.
- Wonderful kitchen, run by wonderful Early Years staff…
- All this and they teach, too!
- Elf spa underway.
- What a result!
- Santa saw every class on his extraordinary schedule.
- Gotta be in it to win it.
- Mr Scarborough found a guardian angel to announce the 50/50 result.
- And the winner of all that cash is… in YEAR ONE!
- Governors get happier and happier as the funds come in…
- …and the mulled cider sells out…
- …Try some!
- Our street dance teacher gave the whole school a chance to show us their moves.
- Time out from the dance floor to decorate cookies.
- The ever-popular dress-up booth.
- Is that Samuel Pepys himself? Or something more frightening?
- Orion sang us out as well – brilliantly..
- Is it really over?
- ‘Fraid so – but there’s always next year.
