Upcoming PTA meeting – Friday

International Evening was a roaring success and a big thank you to Sandra Ibrisim (School Home Support Practitioner), for organising the event. More pictures from the evening will be added soon. Below, just a few tasters (pun!)

On Friday we are holding the Annual General Meeting of the Tufnell Park School PTA.

Come and hear about what we did last year, have your say on how the funds raised are spent this year, and come and find out more about our fundraising activities and events and how you can get involved.

We are always looking for new ideas and people with enthusiasm who want to get involved and help out at events. Can you fundraise? Bake something? Could you design event posters and flyers? Photograph events? Are you a Web designer? Could you organise an event (with help of course from the PTA Team & other parents) – Winter Wonderland / Sport Relief etc.

If you would like to get involved (a little or a lot is always appreciated), please do have a chat with us on Friday.

Practical: Friday 13 October at 15.45 in Andromeda classroom with childcare provided in Cygnus. Cake will be served!

Only one more day of the summer holidays left! Monday is an inset day so it’s back to school and the start of the new school year on Tuesday.

Hope you all had a lovely summer.  To remind you of how we ended last term and what a fabulous year it was, the summer fair photo gallery is now on line on the website (apologies to those who received it by email earlier):

We look forward to more wonderful school and PTA events this school year, starting with the Cygnus (reception class) welcome picnic towards the end of September, which all parents/carers of reception children are warmly invited to attend.  Details to follow.

Have a great summer…

The Friday fundraiser last week run by Lucy Sivaraman made £305 for Grief Encounters, the charity which supports bereaved children and their families. That may well be a new record…thank you to everyone who supported the sale, amazing.

And another thank you to all the friends & family who supported the Fun Run this year, with Gift Aid we have made just over £2000. The monies raised will help pay for more Learning Treats & PTA activities for all the children in the school.  The Fun Run gallery is here:

That is about it for this school year, you can relive the wonderful events we have had, the Christmas & summer fairs (summer fair photos soon), International Evening, the Learning treats, monthly Friday Fundraisers and more.  Take a look at the photo gallery or at older posts.

Wishing you all a wonderful summer.
