Thanks for a great year

As the school year draws to a close, we would like to thank you all for your help & support and have a look back on what we have achieved this year.
We have had some amazing Learning Treats; in December we went to the Hackney Empire to see the Cinderella Panto, followed by Winter Wonderland.
Suddenly it was almost Easter, and the Hat Parade and some amazing creations once again filled the school hall. Check out our Easter Hat Parade Gallery!
Bang On!, the percussion workshop visited the school in April with Mr Scarborough joining in & wowing the children with his drumming skills.
It was sporty June with the Fun Run, and the Big Day Out at The Sobell Centre. The donation page for the Fun Run is open until September:
You can also donate to the PTA at anytime, all money raised goes directly to the children.
This year we have raised money for Children in Need, Sport Relief, Save the Children & Book Aid International. The Fundraising Fridays have continued throughout the year, and have helped to fund various class trips, Middle Bay’s Shakespeare treat and KS1/2 had a visit from Zoolab.
We also reignited entertainment for adults and held our hugely successful Music Quiz and Bingo nights.
Planning for next year is already underway, starting with the traditional Welcome Picnic for our new Reception and Nursery children.  A flyer will go out tomorrow about the school’s famous International Evening, which will take place on Thursday 4 October 2018.
Sadly, we will be bidding a fond farewell to our wonderful co-chair Emilie Ramskill and the PTA secretary, Vicky Green. Their hard work and contributions to the PTA over the last few years have been invaluable, and we will miss them sorely. We really need new recruits to fill these posts so if you fancy getting involved with the PTA, in either vacant role (or in any other way!), please do get in touch. We simply cannot run all these events without you!
Wishing you ALL a fantastic summer break.  See you next term.

Summer Fair Estate Agent Boards – URGENT

Dear Parents and Carers,

Every year the School Summer Fair is publicised on Drivers & Norris Estate Agent Boards put up in front of properties.

We urgently need more board hosts! Each board that goes up raises £30 for the PTA to fund activities for ALL the children at the school.

No nails will be used to secure the boards and they go up approximately 3 weeks before the Summer Fair (Sat 14 July).  If you are willing to host a board outside your property we would love to hear from you if you are not already on our list.

Please contact the PTA by email or via your Class Rep. We need all addresses confirmed by Sunday 10th June.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
