Tufnell Park School goes to the Panto

A great time was had by all the kids at the PTA-funded school trip to “Cinderella” at the Hackney Empire on Wednesday. The reception and nursery children also greatly enjoyed the puppet show hosted for them at the school.

Winter Wonderland tonight! The hall is looking enchanting – see you all there!

Help Our Elves!

Hello everyone

The Tufnell Park Elves are extremely busy this week and require a bit of assistance. We are busy creating a spectacular Narnia themed Winter Wonderland for everyone, the Winter Wonderland is this Friday, 8 December, 5-7pm.

If you have not signed up to help yet, there is time, especially setting up and clearing up after the fair.

  • Bring your filled jars for the Jolly Jar stall to school this week – leave them at reception
  • Hand back your raffle ticket stubs & money by Friday 8 December
  • Bake some lovely festive or Narnia themed cakes or biscuits for the cake stall

The timetable for Santa’s grotto is below. Please keep an eye out and deliver your child in the correct class slot so that your child does not miss their Santa visit.

Help make the Winter Wonderland Fair great!

Can you help to make the Winter Wonderland a great event for the kids?

If you can, please sign up to help on the sign-up sheets, currently up in the school foyer.

Another way to help is to make one or more Jolly Jars for the ‘JarBola’ stall – these are always popular. A glass jar, filled with anything people might like (not nuts or alcohol) and decorated – some examples in the picture below.

There is also a neat way to help the school while doing your online shopping:

1. Head to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/tufnellparkschoolpta/ and join for free.
2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping.
3. After you’ve checked out, that retailer will make a donation to your good cause (our school) for no extra cost whatsoever!
