Tuesday 3rd December 2013 was NSPCC Number Day: children and staff of the school dressed up with digits to raise money for the charity. As you can see, they went for it with gusto – and raised £210 by doing so.
We also used this numerical occasion to launch the HSA’s new fundraising drive, which we’ve called “Learning Treats“. Over the next year, Learning Treats will support the school’s core teaching with fun and relevant resources and experiences for our kids. On Number Day, this meant an all-day visit from Bubblz the Maths Clown – take a look at the whole separate gallery for that event, too!
- They’re billed as “problem teachers” but they were no trouble at all!
- It’s all about working out the number…
- …which sometimes involves a LOT of sums…
- …but if you need information, you know whom to call.
- Mr Gulliford surveys his work and finds it good!
