ITC Learning Treat 2016 – Animated Films

Ms del Pozo, the school’s fantastic ITC lead, spends much of her life pondering the power, potential, fun and dangers of communications technology.  That’s how she came up with the idea of using animated film-making to engage children and families in creating a high-profile event for Internet Safety Week.

The result was an wonderful project involving all children from years 1-6 in making their own animated films with the support of professionals from Film & Video Workshop. Every movie could have won a prize, and our two judges from Pixar Animation Studios were hard pressed to allocate the awards for our Oscars-style ceremony on Friday 12th February – followed by a full screening after school that afternoon.

Again, many, many thanks to Michael Preston and Fiona Cushley for the photos.
