The HSA Annual General Meeting is tomorrow, Friday 14 October after school at 3.45pm in Andromeda’s classroom, with childcare provided by the lovely Cygnus team.
The HSA is the home school association of parents and carers that organises and funds events such as the fabulous summer fair, winter wonderland and learning treats to encourage the children’s learning and make their school experience even more fun. The HSA raises the money to pay for these events and treats through the events themselves (for example the summer fair this year made a stonking £4,797 as well as being a brilliant day in itself) and from other fundraising events such as the annual fun run and fundraising Fridays at school. Everyone automatically becomes a member when their child joins the school.
Please come along and meet the HSA team, hear what we did last year and to have your say on how the funds that have been raised will be spent this year.
We always, always welcome new ideas and people who want to get involved. If you can help in any way large or small (fundraising, designing posters, facepainting at events, baking, bookkeeping, blowing up balloons…see photos below for some of these talents in action!) please come and chat to us tomorrow (or any time). It is great fun and everything we do benefits the children at the school.
