Weeks of rehearsal under the expert tuition of Ms Brereton came to fruition today: Delphinus’s classroom was turned into a temporary recording studio and every class sang their hearts out for the forthcoming school CD – a brief history of popular music from 1920(ish) to present day.
To judge by the work they put in and the lively sounds of the last 80 or so years that were filling the lobby all day, it’s going to be a record well worth having. Which is lucky, because every child in the school gets a free copy – it’s all part of a Music Learning Treat, funded by the HSA. Sing along – parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents too!
- Wow, those are some big microphones.
- But Draco aren’t intimidated – they’re belting it out.
- Ms Brereton leads from the front, as a leader should…
- …and look at the rest of our great staff, game for anything.
