Did your children come home from school last week talking about blood, tornadoes, chocolate, making music out of rubbish and building bridges from spaghetti?
It was all going on for Science Week, and this Tuesday 15th July several classes will be in the hall after school to demonstrate some of what they learned. There will be another display after 9th October when we get our second day-session with the Science Museum, which was postponed due to school closure.
The last HSA Committee Meeting of this school year is on Wednesday 16th July (this Wednesday) at 8pm in the Tufnell Park Tavern. We’ll be sorting through the aftermath of the fantastically successful Summer Fair and preparing for a very busy autumn to come. Here’s what the start of next term looks like:
Friday 12th September, 4:30pm – Adults’ Fun Run, Tufnell Park Playing Fields, followed by a drink at the Tufnell Park Tavern and chance for an informal chat with our new headteacher, Martin Scarborough.
Thursday 18th September, 3:30pm – Welcome picnic for new Cygnus children, Dalmeny Park (or school hall, if it’s wet).
Thursday 25th September, 5:00-7:00pm – the school’s International Evening, supported by the HSA: food and entertainment from communities around the world, as represented by all the families at our school.
The fun never stops!
