Many hands – and spades – really did make light work this morning, as parents turned out in numbers to help dig the foundations for the ceramic totem poles our children have been making since half term. The artist-in-residence, Claire Bevacqua, will be finishing the job over the next couple of weekends.
Thanks a million to everyone who came to help. Having so many people made it just a half-hour job, and everyone was able to get on with their day.
