Travel back in time at King’s Cross Station this weekend as they celebrate the completion of the new Square and all the other recent transformations with a weekend of free family fun. There’s a Helter Skelter and merry go round, guided tours plus Victorian history coming to life everywhere: send the kids up a chimney, have them face-painted Victorian style (soot and the pox!).
There’s Mother’s Ruin cocktails to drink and Victorian themed food to eat. Gasholder No. 8 will be open to the public for the first time this century. And keep an eye out for your schoolmates. It sounds like lots of TPS families are heading on down over the weekend. 11am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
